About the CFSID e-Learning Portal

The CFSID e-Learning Portal is a web-based system through which caregivers and health care professionals can access e-learning courses about SIDS.

This portal is hosted by the Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN).  While CPKN primarily delivers online training to the Canadian police community, it also provides hosting services to other organizations.  Registration, payment, and support services for CFSID online courses are provided by CPKN.  As such, learners will observe references to CPKN in various transactions (i.e. registration processes, on credit card statements, etc.).  Learners are advised that CPKN protects all individuals’ personal information. The information provided will not be shared with a third party, nor will it be used for any other purpose than stated.

For more information, please contact CFSID at 1-800-363-7437.

Once you have logged in, you will see the courses to which you are registered listed in ‘Registered’ tab of the e-Learning panel.  To launch the course, click ‘Launch’ to the right of the course title.
Note:  Pop-up blockers are the primary reason for a course to fail to launch.  Ensure pop-up blockers are set to allow pop-ups from this site. After you have launched a course, use the directional arrows at the bottom of the screen to move through the course.  You can also move to various lessons/modules within a course by clicking on the lesson title on the right side of the screen.
