Parents & Caregivers

If a new baby is joining your family or you’re caring for an infant, we are pleased to provide support that will assist you to make your baby’s sleep environment as safe as possible.

While Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) has been identified as the #1 cause of death for healthy babies aged 1 month to 1 year, steps have been identified that parents and caregivers can take to ensure that babies are protected from risks that may lead to SIDS, or other Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID).

Caring for an infant is a challenging job.   We hope parents and caregivers will find our resources reassuring, and a good guide to ensure your baby has a safe sleep within a safe sleep environment.
