The Ontario Trillium Foundation has approved CFSID for funds totalling $206, 400. These funds will finance a two year project entitled the Safe Sleep Campaign in which the Foundation will increase awareness and create educational tools for SIDS risk reduction. The project includes the development and delivery of the online Safe Sleep Certificate Course and the opening of five Safe Sleep Centres across Ontario in: Durham, London, Brantford, Ottawa and a northern community to be determined.

The project is in need of volunteer support in a northern community and if you would like your community to be a host to a Safe Sleep Centre please give Suzanne Nickel the Safe Sleep Coordinator a call at 1-800-363-7437, ext. 205. or email her at snickel@sidscanada.org
