- SIDS Parent to Keegan
- Service to the CFSID: Five years directing the North Grenville SIDS Affiliate, I have been actively involved within my community in SIDS education awareness, fundraising and peer support as well as a member of the National Fundraising Committee, having produced together with the Foundation Staff the CFSID Fundraising Manual.
- Career: Personal Support Worker in a Long Term Care Facility as part of the Nursing team for the aged and dying.
- Other organizational activities: Have provided care within the community and presently in a Long Term Care Nursing home to chronic care and palliative care clients. Through palliative care seminars as well as through formal education have been trained to work within this field to provide these special people with their basic needs and emotional support. I have also been a parent volunteer for our local soccer club as well as at my son Liam's school. Along with my son Liam, I am active in a Martial Arts Club as a student.
